Interlomas is a residential and commercial area located approximately 11 miles west of Mexico City’s historic city center. It is technically located in the Mexican state of Huixquilucan, but is still considered to be part of greater Mexico City. The area’s housing market primarily consists of a mixture between upscale high-rise apartments and individual homes.

Interlomas is also home to numerous shopping centers, including the Centro Comercial Interlomas, Paseo Interlomas, and Magnocento Interlomas. In addition, the neighborhood has a considerable number of private schools and is home to the private university, Universidad Anahuac Mexico Norte.
