Emily Cantrell has been part of the Station Cites team since 2016, providing service as Destination Services Consultant and Real Estate Salesperson. She is a REBNY Member and MCNE (Master Certified Negotiation Expert). As a relocation specialist, she covers three NYC boroughs for her clients, and is part of the Zillow Premier Agent Team focused on property sales in Brooklyn and Queens.
Her strengths as an agent include empathy, professionalism, and perseverance. She’s developed effective and up to date methods of sharing information with her clients, with the goal of helping them understand the relationship of factors like neighborhood, budget, housing stock, and teamwork needed for the purchase process. The hunt for the perfect home is a challenge Emily enjoys, and she feels great satisfaction when she can negotiate favorably for her clients and loves seeing them placed in their new home.
Emily brings to her career in Real Estate a broad range of professional experience, including some deep roots in the hospitality industry where she worked at the highest level of customer service. As an entrepreneur of 15 years, she imports and sells fine Guayabera shirts from Mexico. She has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Denver and a Certificate in Photography from the Lette-Verein School in Berlin, Germany.
Emily moved to NYC in 1993 as a young artist from Denver, first living in downtown Manhattan and then later settling in Brooklyn, where she currently resides in the Williamsburg neighborhood. She is fluent in Spanish and German and speaks conversational French. Photography, social dancing, cooking, gardening, and travel are among her favorite activities. She’s a mom to a marvelous teenage son and volunteers with the educational and art-related nonprofits Thorntree Project and Montello Foundation.
