Nicknamed P-town, Pelham is an affluent town in Westchester County with a population of over 12,000. Actually made up of two towns, the Village of Pelham and Pelham Manor, the area is very popular with those who work in Manhattan as it is only approximately a half hour commute on the Metro North from Grand Central. Housing in the town is generally made up of single and multi-family homes.

For recreational activities, Pelham residents have access to the extensive Westchester County park system, with all the hiking, fishing, camping, golfing, swimming and picnicking that entails. The Pelham Recreations department offers ballroom dancing, zumba, karate, tennis courses, a summer concert series and a variety of activities for all ages, throughout the year. Dramatic youngsters can join up with the Pelham Children’s Theater, which produces shows for children by children.
